Terms of Service for Summo

By accessing or using Summo ("the Service"), accessible from summo.space, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Educational Use License

Summo grants schools and teachers a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for educational purposes in a classroom setting.

2. Acceptable Use

  • Teachers are responsible for the content they create and share via the platform. You agree not to generate content that is offensive, harmful, or inappropriate for a school environment.
  • Students may use the service anonymously via activity codes provided by their teacher.

3. No Student Accounts

The Service is strictly designed to function without student registration. Any attempt to reverse-engineer the platform to identify individual students or harvest data is strictly prohibited.

4. Intellectual Property

The underlying software, design, and code of Summo are the property of Summo. The educational content (questions, labs) created by teachers remains the property of the teacher/school.

5. Liability

The Service is provided "as is." While we strive for high availability and accuracy, Summo is not liable for any interruptions to classroom activities caused by technical failures or internet connectivity issues.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
